Terrible. My biggest pet peeve when it comes to restaurants is a rude server takes your order.....brings your drink and then food.....never comes back to check on you and then brings the check. This is what we experienced here. Hell I even had to find my own hot sauce. The food was ok but we felt like we were inconveniencing the bartender/server. We payed and went next door to have a few more drinks (which we would have had there if we had felt welcome)......never again.

I arrived at 6:20 on a Friday evening and sat at the bar. A quick survey of the establishment and I saw five tables with varying numbers of guests. After five minutes or so, I realized the only server in the restaurant was the bartender. She was constantly in motion taking drink and food orders. After ten minutes she got to me and I asked if she was the only one working the front of the house. She said yes but told me she had called her boss to let him know she might need some help.
Although the manager remained MIA, a few minutes later, the bartender's sister arrived and began to assist, filling drink orders and delivering food.
I'd ordered an iced tea and received something that was likely made from a powdered product or at least tasted like it. My dinner of carne asada tacos arrived after 20 minutes and was cold. The plate was cold. The food was cold. The flour tortillas looked and felt like they'd just come out of the package. When asked how my meal was, I told them. It was returned to the kitchen and came back to me after what was obviously a quick tour of the microwave.
I don't know what marinade or seasoning packet was used to create this Wyoming version of carne asada but I do know that the combination of substandard ingredients and uneven microwave heating made this an epic fail.
During the course of this culinary dare, I asked the bartender if her boss had arrived, thinking surely he would jump in and either assist the kitchen or the front of the house or both. She said yes, he had arrived and was now sitting at one of the tables talking with his friends.
I decided I had had enough of this dining experience. I paid my check, tipping the bartender for her excellent work and assuring her that none of this was her fault.
I really intended to just walk out. But as I headed for the door, I saw the owner or manager or whatever he was pretending to be, sitting at the table acting like a customer instead of the person responsible for this restaurant.
I went over to the table and asked if he was the manager. He said yes, and I told him about my experience. He offered me an "I'm sorry about that" and nothing else. I told him his wait staff was working their collective asses off and the poor kitchen product would obviously affect their tips. I asked why he was short-staffed on a Friday evening and he told me that one of his servers was late but would be arriving at any minute. As delightful an explanation as that is, it didn't explain why he was sitting on his -ss doing nothing while his restaurant was floundering.
Although I received a discount for the unfortunate state of my dinner, there is no price worth paying for the food at this restaurant. Certainly not the $10 plus they were asking.
A restaurant is only as good as the manager behind it. This manager was sitting on his behind.
