The pecan pie is the best I've ever had, even though I'm not usually a pecan pie person, and the apple crumble pie with its perfectly cooked crust was unforgettable, with all their pies featuring light, flaky crusts and fresh ingredients that keep me coming back despite living far away and needing to order in advance due to their popularity.

The pecan pie at Portage Pie stands out as the best I have ever tasted, even for someone who typically doesn't favor pecan. My wife brought home a coconut cream pie that was truly the best I've ever had. Flaky crust, such a light whipped cream topping. Exquisite! Since Portage Pie is closed due to the pandemic, they apparently are still supplying the local restaurants. We were lucky enough to pick up the last few slices they had left! We will definetly be back!

It seems as though there is less and less fruit in the fruit pies. I bought a blueberry and it was mainly made from juice and few blueberries. I can get that at the amish stands and pay half the price.

I AM SURE GLAD THAT MY COUSIN TOLD ME ABOUT YOUR PIES. 5 STARS ARE NOT ENOUGH, SHOULD BE 75 STARS. YOUR PIES CAN NOT BE IMPROVED. THE CRUST IS BY FAR THE BEST I HAVE EVER EATEN. YOU KEEP ON BAKE-N AND I WILL KEEP ON EAT-N I WILL HAVE TO TRY ONE OF EACH TO SEE WHICH ONE I ENJOY THE BEST. SO FAR I OVER ENJOY THE COCONUT.
