I went to Gafford to celebrate my birthday. I had a birthday coupon and used it thinking it would be a dumb down as it was buy one get one of equal or lesser value free. You had to present the coupon before you ordered. I am happy to say that was not the case. The Meal was every bit the same portion and very good as if I were paying without the coupon. I was Actually very impressed. Thank you gafford my birthday was excellent.

I met a friend this evening for dinner. My friend ordered the lamb chops, mashed potatoes and asparagus. The lamb chops were dry, mashed potatoes were dry, so dry that the fork stood up straight. I, at the recommendation of the waiter, ordered their "famous" fried chicken. I took one bite and had to ask to send it back. The owner came out and defensively asked if I expected him to throw the friend chicken away and pay for it. I was astounded at the arrogance and horrible customer service. I have never experienced such rude treatment, especially when you consider the poor quality of the food at overrated prices. This owner obviously caters to the wealthy locals and could care less about satisfaction with regard to the food. He acted as though his food should be featured on the Food Network. Is he kidding? I was forced to take this "famous" fried chicken home, and the smell of it in the car was making me gag. I actually went next door to Luna's and had their delicious eggplant parmigiana. I will NEVER again go to the Gafford for their "famous" a/k/a slop fried chicken. I believe Kentucky Fried chicken would have been a better choice. Maybe the owner could use all the money he makes from his "famous" fried chicken to take a course in customer relations, because his behavior was horrible.
