Due to a family emergency, I had to postpone a reservation I made for August, and the staff kindly allowed me to hold the deposit until December, when I was able to visit. The room was recently remodeled and impressively clean and comfortable, providing a pleasant stay during my weekend scalloping trip. The establishment served as a convenient base for kayaking the Homosassa River, offering low crowd levels in the off-season and friendly, helpful service at the front desk.
