Owner Dennis is the pit master and an awesome host. Beth and I have passed there many times and finally stopped in on 4th of July. Our waiter Danny was super and even though we were sitting outside checked on us often. We tried the Smokin Barrels for Two and they fixed us right up - we tried a little of everything. The sauces are great and have the best beef brisket in S. City (sorry STP you used to be my favorite). I like the meat because it is perfectly smoked and not all spiced up - there are great sauces for that. Dennis hooked us up with a sample of the potato salad which is very good but Beth and I thought our favorite side was the coleslaw (creamy). The baked beans are good (we added a bit of bbq sauce). We were stuffed but made room for the one and only desert - a homemade apple pastry with a scoop of ice cream - yummmy!!! Everything in this place is made from scratch and with love.
