I visited La Mejor once after hearing about their renowned pork tamales, just a few days before Christmas. My wife and I enjoyed a couple for dinner that night, savoring their delicious flavor. Unfortunately, a recent news report revealed that the establishment had tragically burned down, leaving hopes for a future rebuild uncertain.

Good Food

Like to shop at La Mejor to get my candies from Mexico and look around to see if I see anything new or interesting. My family was hungry and of course I was out shipping so I decided to buy some tamales already made for them (thinking they would be good) because I have purchased other food items here and it has been good. But the tamales were NOT had no flavor and tasted like they were made a week before. So I do not recommend the tamales but I will still continue to go to get my candies.

The best Mexican store in the Valley! The Vasquez family has owned this store for 43 years and continue this great legacy of fine home made Mexican food. Serving their famous BBQ, Carnitas, homemade tamales and their famous corn tortillas. They are open 365 day a year 6am to 7pm come by and try their delicious, mouth watery food.This amazing store has served the central valley for many years and will continue their great legacy.
