My wife and I visited La Lomitas in Fremont Mi. about 5 pm on 7-13-14 (last evening) We beat the dinner crowd and there were plenty of places to be seated. Once seated we ordered right away as we had planned an early dinner out. Chips/salsa were brought to us and they were pretty good, although we both thought the salsa was on the thin side. (runny) As time went on, the place filled up and our food wasn't brought to us yet. When the folks who came AFTER US started getting their food, we stopped the waiter and asked why? He checked and said we were close to the head on the line! Close?? We had been sitting there for over an HOUR at that point! It took 15 more minutes to get out food and to be honest, although it wasn't bad, it sure wasn't worth the high cost or long wait! I had enchilada's and my wife had a grilled chicken dish. It cost us $30.00 and at the check out, the gal answered our complaint by saying, it took so long, because they were BUSY! They weren't busy when we got there and ordered our food!!! On top of all that, I feel the manager should have come out and apologized, and an offer to reduce out bill should have been made. We will NOT be going back, and will tell out friends just how we were treated at La Lomitas in Fremont Mi.!!!
