Upon arriving about 30 minutes before closing, the staff kindly welcomed me in and prepared my order despite the kitchen winding down, demonstrating exceptional customer service. The red curry chicken was flavorful and tender, while the kimchi fries and jalapeño bacon cheese wontons stood out as delicious appetizers, complemented by thoughtful drink recommendations. Although the beer tap was down and service at times slow, the food quality and friendly atmosphere made for an enjoyable dining experience worth returning to.

This is the most amazing restaurant! I have always loved this families food ever since my girls were little 20+ years ago we went to the restaurant at 45th and Bell that his parents had for YEARS! When I tried GOONEY'S for the first time I was blown away and it only got better when I found out the owner is the young kid that worked the window all those years and never failed to play with my Boxer and give her treats!
I don't live in Amarillo anymore and everybody that knows me their nose that when I come to town and we go to eat it is GOONEY'S first! Unbelievable steaks!!!!!

Once again my husband and I went to Goonies and we waited 45 minutes and still didn't get our food.

Loved the food but don't like to wait 35 minutes to get my meal. I was late getting back to work. Get some more servers. Good God!
