Despite a slightly longer wait due to being understaffed, the complimentary sake shots and attentive, genuine service from Mama Jun and her team made for a warm, welcoming atmosphere where the large, delicious portions-from chicken cutlet to lamb skewers and honey toast dessert-consistently impressed me, and the cozy, well-decorated space combined with unique, expertly prepared Japanese dishes and thoughtful touches like personalized birthday songs ensured an unforgettable dining experience that has me eager to return and explore more of the menu as well as their upcoming new location.
