The clubhouse bar exuded a vintage charm, the lingering scent of smoke wafting through the open slider as a band played outside. Our server was incredibly kind, serving up a delicious patty melt and one of the best Arnold Palmers in the desert. Despite the darkness and the slight challenge in locating the country club, the experience offered a refreshing change from the usual haunts in the area.
