Walking into Mekong Bistro felt like stepping into Southeast Asia right in the heart of Portland, with every dish bursting with unique, fresh flavors that I hadn't experienced before. From the flavorful crab special to the amazing frog legs and lively atmosphere complete with friendly service and even karaoke, it turned out to be an unforgettable meal that I'm eager to revisit.

Mekong Bistro offers a unique culinary experience with its authentic Cambodian dishes, which are flavorful and freshly prepared. The crab special, often priced much higher at other establishments, provides excellent value while the service is friendly and engaging. Despite some minor issues with specific dishes, the overall atmosphere and delicious food make it a worthwhile destination for those looking to explore Southeast Asian cuisine.

Amazing food for a decent price. Cha Krueng & the kao Pune soup are standouts, as are the stuffed wings, these items are no doubt some of the best Asian dishes in pdx. Other strengths include Ah Mok and seafood soup and even the otherwise plain cha mi sou is addicting and tasty.
