If you are a sushi connoisseur you will be terribly disappointed at Gao Sushi. They don't use any panko for the shrimp tempura coating (mortal sin). The shrimp tempura dipping sauce was tasteless and it was like dipping your shrimp into hot water. There was no hondashi taste whatsoever. No grated daikon either.
I felt sorry for the waitress. She was all alone and, therefore, service was extremely slow.
If this is your first sushi experience, and you have nothing to compare Gao Sushi to, then you will find the sushi edible.
For the price paid and the experience, it was NOT a good value. Very disappointed and won't be back.
