The fried clams and seafood here are exceptionally fresh, with generous portions like the massive fish sandwich accompanied by fresh tartar sauce. The menu offers a decent variety, and the food is made to order, including items like hand-battered haddock and freshly fried onion rings, all served with friendly and efficient service. The outdoor seating provides pleasant views of the waterway, creating a relaxing atmosphere despite occasional crowds and nearby bridge construction.

I have had a crabmeat roll at the Trevett Country Store at least once per summer for many years. They are delicious. Arriving on Sept 23 this year, I felt the amount of crabmeat was on the skimpy side for a $2.55 price increase over last year. There are plenty of other places in the area to get a crabmeat roll. I'll try one more year.
