I had the best pastrami and Havarti sandwich today, with lean, flavorful meat that far surpassed other places I've tried before. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, creating a warm atmosphere that made the whole experience even better.

If you're looking for a great sandwich spot in Pomona, you've got to try the Brick Market and Deli! They've got sandwiches, deli salads, pastries, an awesome coke machine, a market where you can pick up healthy snacks and a great selection of bottled drinks. They even sell lottery tickets and scratchers. I've been here a few times and the staff is always so friendly. I try to change up my order so I can try everything, but I do have some favorites so far. The chicken shawarma, grilled sausage and pastrami sandwiches are great. And if you're getting a sandwich, make it a meal combo. You pay a little more for your choice of a side salad or a bag of chips, plus a fountain drink from the coke machine. The salads are all great, but I'm partial to the potato salad and Greek cucumber salad. As far as the desserts go, you've got to try the baklava, it's to die for! I highly recommend The Brick, and can't wait to go back.
