This is probably the worst experience I have ever had at a restaurant. Not because the service was bad but because the owner/manager told me that my server was autistic. Those were the exact words t hat were told to me when i was wondering about why service was a little odd. Me thinking this was kind of a wild excuse from the manager still left a generous tip even though my food was free. This was eating away at me as my server did not seem autistic so i asked if i could speak to him. They told me i could. So i walked over to him and asked if he was doing ok. I generally always ask this if my service is a little under par because i generally care about people even if they are strangers. He began to tell me of his troubles with his family and fiance. I told him everything would be ok and that if you ever needed to talk to anyone you could find me at my local business down the road. He was not autistic obviously. I shook his hand and told him that i hoped he has a great day. I walked back to the front counter to talk to the manager/owner. She was talking to another customer but i could not help but to interject. I did not yell.. i did not scream.. I simply said "How dare you tell me that my server was autistic. What kind of a business owner would tell me that one of their employees was autistic in an excuse to explain to me why service was slightly inadequate. He is not autistic. How can you have the nerve to lie to one of your customers... How dare you..." I left disgusted that i ever ate at this establishment not because the food was terrible but because the management simply does not care about their employees.
