06/13/2021 - Owner has horrible customer service
If I could give zero stars I would. Do NOT waste your money here. There's a reason why they were empty on a Sunday morning, when every where else was full. The food is unfortunately disgusting and the owner will not take a meal off your check if you don't like it *even if you didn't even eat it.*

We dined here this morning. I ordered an Eggs Benedict and it was just simply inedible. The "hollandaise" was not hollandaise. It was a salty, macaroni-and-cheese colored mush. Also, the yolks were fully cooked. I told the waitress I just didn't like it and couldn't eat it. The owner Wilson - who's also the chef - refused to take it off the bill. He clearly can't accept that someone doesn't like his absolutely disgusting low quality trashcan food. He didn't come out to discuss it with us. He saw us ask why we couldn't have it taken off and turned around and walked back into the kitchen.

The waitress was nice and I feel bad for the girls who work out front that they have to take the brunt for this coward of a man. If his ego is that big, I wonder how he treats them when no one is around. And because of his ego, not only will we never return but we are now compelled to warn others of the awful experience. This business will fail because of him.

If you want a GOOD, quality brunch with edible food and proper management, go just down the road to Notch Eight Craft Brewery. Coffee and donuts: Donerds Donuts. Coffee and pastries: Muggles Mug. All located on Broadway.

Thanks for serving the best lunches and dinners in Jim Thorpe! (I am sure breakfasts are amazing too, but I wasn't there in the morning.). I love the creative menu and fresh made to order food. The service is the friendliest ever to be found! Huge selection of ice cream flavors for dessert! I look forward to my next Jim Thorpe vacation and many more meals at Bear Appetit!
