We love Italian food and have some of the best available to us on Federal Hill in Providence, RI and, Boston's North End. We were pleasantly surprised with a GREAT meal at Cafe Panini, 339A West Venice Avenue, Venice, FL. My husband had stuffed eggplant rolitini and I had cheese tortolini with bolonese sause, a great bottle of wine and the creamiest tiramusu...All fresh, home made pasta, and he makes mozzarella every day. There's no atmosphere to speak of, but the owner has plans for some renovations. To look at the cafe from the outside it's deceiving because you think it's just a pizza and calzone shop, but venture in and you'll find delicious dinners.
