07/08/2018 - Joe and Kathy
We haven't been to the Charma Grill in a few years. During the week I saw an ad on facebook and decided to go back. There were not many cars out front and that scared us. Everybody knows when a restaurant is slow the service is usually not very good. It is 4th of July week so city restaurants are not busy.
We decided to sit at on of the high top tables in the bar area. Michael was the bartender/server. He was great. Kathy had a dirty martini and said it was one of the best. I had a sangria that was equally good. He was a classy exceptional server, someone management should be proud of. He came over at the appropriate time to take our order and then brought some rolls with a toasted cheese topping that were great.
Kathy had chicken francese that was exceptional with a nice egg batter and lemon wine sauce over pasta. She said it was perfect.
I had the rodizio (Brazilian barbeque). It is served with fried bananas, rice, salad, pico de gallo, polenta and the meat. The servers come around with endless meat. They serve great sausage, filet in bacon, lamb, chicken many great styles, sirloin, pork loin (somebody told me 14 meats).
Remember it is 4th of July weekend and they were not crowded. I was concerned about the meat but it was none stop, well prepare and delicious.
I cannot comment o the nice desert tray because we were too full.
The rodizio is $33 and worth every penny. They have a 6 th anniversary special and it is $24 through the end of August if you mention the Anniversary special. Other meals are also discounted so it is a great time to try this restaurant if you never have or go back again.
