The food is great!! Wings and Burgers!! but when you call in an order they seem like its the end of the world and are mad at you for calling. I eat there at least once a month, but for real every time i call in an order be it early in the day or an hour before they close they guy always seems mad. but when you go in they are always nice...its crazzy.............but the food is great......calll it in .....wait 20 min and go get it!!!!.......poor phone customer service, but great food and nice little spot to stop in and have lunch!!!...............i gave it 3 stars because EVERYTIME i call it in it seems to be a problem.......food gets 5 stars!!!!!

One reviewer said they were slow and rude. I can buy slow, they cook food to order, they don't pre-cook it, that's why it's good. These people aren't rude, I've been there 50 times. The burgers are great, the wings are great, if you get anything else you need to understand that seafood in Omaha isn't very good, steaks are great. "CHIICKEN Coop", use your head. Every wing joint in this area is compared to Old School, they're the best. Chicken Coop is about 96% as good as Old School. The wings are a little smaller but also more tender. The taste is identical. Their french fries are fantastic. They use the same crinkle cut commercial fries a million restaurants buy, but I guess they cook them differently. I would have gone 4 stars + but I didn't have that option. 5 stars is 100%, I'd be hesitant to give anything that kind of rating.

Ordered a catfish sandwich and couldn't believe it when I took bun off to add tarter sauce. One poor little piece of fish sat in the middle of a large hamburger bun. Charge a couple dollars more and put 2 pieces of fish to fill out the bun. Food tastes good but that sandwich was sad.

My children and I decided to stop at this place last night after hearing about their Burgers and Wings and we are glad we did. These were no doubt the absolute best wings I have ever tasted, no lie. I see why the place was packed, well worth the wait.The Chicken Coop Horn Lake,unbelievable food and wonderful, welcoming customer service. Now I won't have to drive up thru all those traffic lights in Southaven and get back home and my food is cold and not nearly as delicious.Worth a review.
