I thoroughly enjoyed this place. Since my first trip there I have gone back 3 times within the last month. I love it when I visit Chester SC only because of chicken king!!! Keep it up!!

This place is awesome. They are under new management and all of the staff is friendly, the place is clean and you get double the food you expect in a plate. The fried chicken is the best in town. The fish is better than the fish places, shrimp are awesome. We eat here once a week. The food is delicious!! A gem in Chester!

Best Fried chicken! Don't know why anyone would frequent KFC when you can come here. They are the Chicken King. I've also had some of the fish sandwiches which were great as well. I once tried the gizzards. Quite good but was scared to try at first.

Ordered 2 /1/2 lb hamburget plates..the burgers wete dried up the buger and sauce and lettuce were sloppy the fries were hard and dry...will never get foof from there again

I noticed some bad reviews would stress they are very old and the place is under new management. I have eaten in and taken out for almost a year now and find everyone to be pleasant and helpful. Good selection of Southern food available, great butterfly shrimp! Never been disappointed.

Not bad. Limited menu. All tables dirty, I asked for a rag. I'm on my lunch break!!!! Gizzards were decent. I've had better at Shrimp Boat in Rock Thrill, but not bad. Girl taking order had no emotion. She was polite but seemed to be somewhere else. Will probably come back if I want a quick bite. Will try chicken sandwich next time.

Customer service at this Chicken King in Chester SC is terrible and unprofessional. The employees were very mouthy and showing no Respect to the customer (Me) when I know after working many years in Customer Service that "THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT". I ask to the manager who was very unprofessional and smart mouth as well in front of his employees had no more sense but to act the same way toward the customer (Me). I ask was he the manager he states to me YES I AM THE OWNER!! WOW!!! I received No Apologize, No I am sorry for the mishap and NOTHING TO SHOW GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE..!!!
