Groupers on the Pier, now under new ownership, serves up some really tasty seafood like grilled catfish, hush puppies, and fried shrimp with perfectly light breading. The service is friendly and prompt, and the drinks, especially the strawberry daiquiri and chocolate martini, are great additions to the meal. It's a casual spot with a nice ocean view and reasonably priced beer, though the atmosphere can be loud with music and TVs playing constantly.

The restaurant has recently changed ownership and is now called Groupers on the Pier. I had a delicious meal of grilled catfish, hush puppies, and coleslaw, all of which was very enjoyable. The service was prompt and friendly, with special mention to Ashley who took our orders efficiently. If you're in the Myrtle Beach area, I would suggest trying out Groupers on the Pier for a satisfying dining experience by the ocean.
