This establishment was originally an 'El Pollo Loco' - the pre-eminent purveyor of grilled, mexican-marinated chicken! 'Loco' has been very successful in the larger communities (Las Vegas, Dallas, etc.) but has found it difficult to maintain operations in the smaller communities. 'Regio' took over the operation several years ago in this community, when I stopped in to place an order. Unfortunately, 'Regio' doesn't have the same marketing attitude as 'Loco'.... I don't like dark meat and was surprised to be told that if I wanted the 'half-chicken' order, I'd have to take (and pay for) the legs and thighs! There's no substitution and that's that! I told them I'd pay for the extra white-meat: NOPE! You pay for what we give you! We have 'Regio' here in Waco, also - and they maintain the same attitude: so, I don't eat at Regio.
