The atmosphere at Eric's in Mineola is welcoming, with a staff that greets you warmly and knows many patrons by name, but the service can be a bit slow. While some dishes were good, I've had better versions at other spots. The baked clams oregano and cannoli were tasty, but the lasagna didn't impress me. Despite this, the free dessert for the table as we celebrated a birthday showed their hospitality, and I'd be willing to give them another try to see if the service improves.
