During my recent visit to Kilgore, I was truly amazed by the experience at Jack Ryan's Steak and Chophouse. The ribeye was cooked to perfection, incredibly tender, and seasoned just right, while the twice-baked potato stood out as a delicious side. With exceptional service from Jasmine and a warm ambiance, this restaurant quickly became a favorite for special occasions and casual dining alike.

If you think it's a joke...IT IS! For $11 expecting more than couple slices shriveled toast, peanut butter & jelly (must be off-brand, nothing special) and even less special is the single slice of bacon. Service is usually decent but waiter failed to indicate this is NOT a real meal, barely a snack/appetizer. Stick with the chicken fried steak, hamburger steak or fried catfish (always good). This is always our go-to for special occasions at lunch, dinner too pricey.
