They put wayyy too much rice in your nigiri that it completely ruins the balance. I could see they're trying to save a little of money that way, but charging customers extra money for leaving rice is a little too much. As comparison, Hiroba Sushi on Prater Way serve their nigiri with rice about quarter of what JJ would use. And their fish is bigger than what JJ serves. So at Hiroba, there is no need to leave rice. That does not happen at Hiroba. JJ is just too greedy in my opinion. If they you see you like to eat nigiri, they will purposely serve you with extra so you will get full fast. I would not recommend this place.

My husband and I LOVE JJ's sushi! They have the regular items you would normally see on a sushi menu, plus items that they will surprise you with if you ask them to. I don't like cooked fish but they will make me as many raw happy's as I want! They have fun, awesome chefs that smile regularly and their staff has always been so polite and on top of everything, even when they are busy. This is always our first choice for sushi in Sparks.
