I had an amazing experience discovering a Puerto Rican restaurant tucked away in an offbeat neighborhood, where the welcoming owners were incredibly helpful in guiding my meal choices. The Bistec empanado I ordered was flavorful and satisfying, with perfectly cooked rice and delicious empanadas that reminded me of my childhood. After enjoying my first authentic taste of Puerto Rican cuisine as an adult, I can't wait to go back and explore more of the menu, especially the mofongo!
