The Forest La Caretta consistently serves fast, tasty food with attentive and polite staff, making it our go-to Mexican restaurant in the area. My wife loves the Quesadilla Texana, while I'm all about the shrimp fajitas, and we always enjoy the huge portions and free chips and salsa that come with every meal. Even though the Timberlake location has a different vibe, the Forest spot wins on food quality and friendly service, plus they're dog-friendly and have a nice outdoor courtyard.

The Forest La Caretta Mexican Restaurant offers consistently delicious food served by attentive and polite staff. While the ambience may not match that of the Timberlake location, the food quality at the Forest spot is unparalleled. My wife's go-to is the Quesadilla Texana, while I always opt for the shrimp fajitas - a must-try when visiting the Forest area.
