Absolutely adore Maggie's and all the delicious seafood options they offer! From jumbo shrimp to snappers and groupers, they never disappoint. Every Saturday morning, you'll find me at Maggie's downtown, grabbing some fresh catches and saying hi to Eve for me! The pork fillet I picked up at Phillipi market was outstanding - tender, flavorful, and cooked up perfectly in just 12 minutes. And don't even get me started on the fresh seafood selection - whether it's at the Sarasota Farmers Market or Venice Farmer's Market, you're in for a treat with the freshest crab meat and shrimp around.

For quite a few years I have bought fresh seafood here and finally got fed up with the rude owner and stopped buying from them. Thought I would try again and, nope, still rude. They treat you like you are bothering them. I can get just as good seafood elsewhere and for less money.

We have never gone wrong with Maggie's seafood. Her crab cakes, salmon patties and seafood pies are awesome. Fish is always fresh and she's always willing to give you recipes. Shrimp and Scallops are amazing. We make are purchases at the Englewood Farmers Market, but have gone to Venice during off season just to purchase from Maggie's.
