Mangia Bene captures the authentic New York pizza experience with its takeout-only, cash-only service and simple, unpretentious setting. The thin, crispy crust stands out as the highlight, complemented by fresh ingredients and generous slices, even if the cheese layer is a bit thicker than traditional New York style. Friendly and efficient staff make the ordering process smooth, and the menu offers a variety of delicious Italian classics that keep me coming back whenever I'm in downtown Tampa or Ybor City.

The New York feel of Mangia Bene was evident in its takeout and cash-only policy, as well as its unassuming appearance. While the pizza had a good flavor, the thick layer of cheese somewhat overshadowed the tasty crust. Despite the minor setbacks, Mangia Bene still offered a satisfying slice of pizza, especially if you're in downtown Tampa.
