The Mexican restaurant in Hawi offers delicious food, quick service, and good value. I particularly enjoyed the shrimp and quesadillas during my visit. Thank you for providing an authentic Mexican dining experience in Hawaii.

I live in this town and I really wish this restaurant had better food and better service. It is the only restaurant that's open until 8pm most days so it probably gets more business than it really should. The service is obscenely slow, you order at a window and then they deliver it to your table. I have waited up to an hour for a steak salad before. Lots of people know that you have to get here right when they open unless you have a lot of spare time to sit around and wait. I would say the food is mediocre for the prices, not bad but definitely not a lot of care going into the taste of the food. Finally, i've been to this restaurant at least seven times and have never gotten as much as a smile from the person taking my order. It feels like I am bothering them just being there. I'm glad to say that this is not the norm for this beautiful town, people are generally very friendly and helpful so to have service like this sticks out like a sore thumb. Please do better Mi Ranchito!

I love this food. Having eaten much Mexican food in California, this is as good as if not better. The chef even removed the chucky onions for me!! Very authentic. For me the Chili Verde is to die for!! My friends have found their favorites. What will yours be?
