During my visit to Annapolis, I quickly got seated at Miss Shirley's before the lunch crowd, appreciated the clean and spacious seating including outdoors, enjoyed flavorful but sometimes overwhelming dishes like chicken 'n cheddar green onion waffles and stone-ground grits with attentive service from staff like Tanisha and Elizabeth, savored standout items such as blueberry pancakes, Maryland omelette, and the Gravy Train Southern Skillet, found portions generous and the atmosphere friendly despite busy times and occasional power surges, and although prices were a bit high, the overall dining experience with great food, excellent service, and a variety of delicious options made me eager to return and try more.
