The warm, welcoming atmosphere made me feel right at home as friendly faces bustled around in a lively, family-style diner setting. The generous portions of comfort food-from fluffy pancakes to crispy hash browns and hearty chicken fried steak-were satisfying and flavorful, leaving me with leftovers to share. Despite a few minor hiccups with timing and coffee refills, the delicious meals and attentive service created an inviting experience I'm eager to revisit.

The food was a hit - the liver was a bit off, but the mashed potatoes and fried okra were spot on! Despite a slight wait for my order, the deliciousness made up for it. The family-friendly vibe was cozy and inviting - I'll definitely be back for more tasty bites at MFD!

I have been eating at the Minho location for years. It is a very nice spot. The food is prepared well, tastes fine. I always leave happy. Never a bad experience. The staff is quite efficient. Kitchen gets it done. If there are unhappy visitors, it is a customer issue. Thanks Mom's for a real pleasant place.

Wonderful! We wanted to go last year but then pandemic. Well, we had family from Florida up yesterday and they wanted a diner so upon calling, they were open until 8pm. I let them know we would have 7 people, no problem.
Tables spaced, staff in masks. Food was great. We had steak, shrimp, burger, chili burger, chicken, philly cheesesteak and liver/onions(he's old school okie). Staff were wonderful and attentive. Great prices and huge portions, we needed take away boxes. Knew it had to be good as we always see work Van's, construction trucks and police.

The mashed potatoes are instant potatoes and were running thin. The corn tasted freezer burn. I probably will not go back my mom never made instant mashed potatoes

My family has been to Mom's location on Mingo many times. The food and service is ALWAYS wonderful, but it is a long drive from where we live.
Now that they have opened a location on Yale, cutting our drive to 4 miles, I hope to become a frequent customer.
