On a Tuesday night with a manageable crowd, I enjoyed a great ambiance with pleasant music and accommodating staff who were patient during my first visit, savored delicious and generously portioned brisket nachos, appreciated the attentive service and Texas BBQ vibe throughout a $30 restaurant week meal that included flavorful smoked chicken wings and prime rib, found the banana bread pudding a bit dense compared to my usual favorite, loved the warm chocolate brownie with ice cream, admired the rustic decor that made eating with hands comfortable, and valued the fast, friendly service along with standout dishes like fatty brisket, beef ribs, Old School Mac, collard greens, and cornbread, all combining to make Morgan's a solid choice for tasty, smoky BBQ with a cool, casual atmosphere near Barclays Center.
