The classic diner offers friendly staff, quick service, large portions, and reasonably priced food with a warm, welcoming atmosphere that makes each visit enjoyable. While the food and service are generally good, there is room for improvement in cleanliness and operating hours to better serve customers and attract more business.

This diner has a classic vibe and the staff are always quick with a smile. The menu offers plenty of options at reasonable prices, and the portions are pretty generous. If they spruce up a few areas like cleanliness and hours, they could really attract more customers and reach their full potential.

The Route 1 Diner has never, in all of the times we have gone there, failed to serve a delicious meal to us! The wait staff has always been pleasant, accommodating and prompt.
R1D is #1 with us.
