Sherpa Cafe serves up some of the best Nepalese and Indian dishes around Gunnison, with flavorful curries, fresh naan-especially the unique raisin and coconut variety-and generous portions that often leave you with leftovers. The cozy, warmly decorated interior and friendly staff make for a welcoming experience, even if service can be a bit slow on busy nights; it's definitely worth sticking around for a meal here.

After a fun afternoon in Gunnison, I decided to grab dinner at Sherpa Cafe based on some local recommendations. The cozy setup inside an older building was charming, and the Chicken Makhani with Naan was absolutely delicious. The service was friendly and although a bit slow, the overall experience was worth it.
