The fried catfish I indulged in was a revelation, perfectly crispy with a tender interior that sang with flavor. Each side added its own charm, especially the collard greens and yams, which were cooked to perfection without being overly sweet. Despite a minor disappointment with the cornbread, the overall experience left me eager to return for more of that comforting, homemade goodness.
