Visited Slingshot Charlie for the first time, I enjoyed my visit very much. I went on a Wednesday and had the 4 vegetable plate with cream corn, potato salad, deviled eggs, and green beans. You could tell all vegetables were homemade and not out of a can. all the vegetable were fresh. all the vegetable were delicious. I'm 62 years old and the green beans were some of the best I have ever had. It's very hard to get home made potato salad eating out, but Slingshot Charlie's potato salad is homemade and very good. I will be going back again soon. I have heard the greens are very good and fresh and not out of a can, Looking forward to trying the greens soon and the other vegetables. Looking forward to trying the fried chicken gizzard dinner. I had blackberry cobbler for dessert and it was very good. I would like to suggest that you'll put a boiled chicken gizzard dinner with rice and gravy on your menu. My friend and I got excellent service and we never ran out of tea. I would highly recommend Slingshot Charlie to everyone!

Grandma's cooking at a good price and a great atmosphere. The servers are super we drive almost an hour every other week to eat there.

The food is exceptional! It is seriously some of the best southern food around. The location is a bit out of the way but worth the drive. Can be pricey for the serving sizes and food prep time can be very slow. Don't go if you are in a hurry. The menu changes daily and later in the day they may run out of popular items.

Did not like it. Had a large party. Got separated into 3 different tables. Not close to each other. Food was decent not great.

A great experience for my palate, very attentive staff, fine home cooked food, and reasonably priced, too. That covers my visit.

Great food! People are so nice and friendly. Reminds me of Sunday dinner at Grandmas
