Before heading to the Shiner brewery, I grabbed a quick lunch featuring a buffet with fresh, wholesome home-cooked dishes like macaroni and cheese, fried chicken, catfish, and a variety of salads, all served with cheerful and friendly service. The food exceeded my expectations with its comforting flavors and reasonable price by weight, and though the self-service setup meant using disposable plates, the experience was warm and satisfying, especially with the anticipation of enjoying the pie I took to go.
