closed for the season which is too bad. I love the special items they have. The thing is Iike so many things it is hard to decide which is the best. I have been to many clam shacks in the R.I and New England Area and this is by far the best as far as the food . The grounds are kept very clean and I like the tables with the neat coverings. Prices are really good and affordable and the portions are large. I do like the sea food items due to they come from the fish market inside the Dockside Market next door. The fries are great also and so is the slaw. Everything is cooked in the shack and is from scratch. The fish from the fish and chips is just so fresh and huge. People stare as you walk by. The lobster salad roll us just huge and full of real lobster meat piled high. The chowder is really good and the clam cakes have a lot of clams and are not greasy at all. When not wanting sea food which my wife always has I go for the foot long hot dog with everything on it. a grilled roll and the dog is a meal in itself. With a cold drink you just have to relax and enjoy it. So this is a great place to stop with the family or just by yourself.
This is a real clam shack,great food and low prices make it an outstanding place to get real value and fresh food. No one else I know has the seafood market next door to make sure it is the freshest seafood around anywhere.

The food was great. The service was great. The only comment/complaint is that he menu online is not current. There were two specific items that i was looking to order and when i got there, the items were not there. The items were a caesar salad and the tuna salad roll.
