The food is excellent and service is very friendly. Pizza Sauce reminds me of the pizzas I ate in Bologna Italy. It did not give me the usual heart burn that I get by eating other name brand pizzas. I would recommend this place deeply. As matter of fact we just ordered 12 Pizzas for our staff members. Thank you Tony and Al's.

Located on the corner of E. Call Street and Thompson Street in historic downtown Starke, Florida, Tony and Al's Deli has been at this location for only 3 years. Tony runs the small restaurant (Al runs the one on main street in Alachua, Florida) with a staff that offers great family and warm customer service. The ambience is great and cozy even when the soft "rumbling" sound (and feel) in the building occurs when a train passes by.
Not a "factory-pizza-chain" but great pizza and specialty Italian food that can be eat-in, take-out, and delivered. Sure they have pizzas (10" small, 14" medium, 16" large, and by the slice), either original NY style with your own selected toppings or specialty. Also, salads, various subs and wraps, calzone, stromboli, burgers, soups (ask) are on the menu. Beverages are selected "Coke" products. Italian lunch and dinner specials are changed daily.

Always great food. Known Al for years. Been to both restaurants in Starke and new one in Alachua. Always excellent. Poppi Al is always glad and welcoming. Good job, Poppi. From Poppi Carl
