I revisited Chico Bakery yesterday and was promptly assisted by a friendly gentleman after calling the number on the door. I easily paid from my car and the buns were delivered to me, ready to be shared with a happy crowd five hours away. Chico Bakery, home of the famous Julia's Pepperoni Rolls, offers a delicious West Virginian specialty that has been enjoyed since the 1920s and is even the official roll for the West Virginia University Mountaineers.
