Trackside offers an exceptional dining experience in a beautifully restored early 1900s train station, blending history with a unique atmosphere that instantly transports you to a simpler time. The menu features fresh, flavorful dishes like Osso Buco, Utica Greens, and house-made pastas, all expertly prepared and thoughtfully presented, while desserts such as the peanut butter cheesecake and orange creamsicle cake are truly memorable. Although service can occasionally be slow due to understaffing, the hardworking and attentive staff do their best to ensure guests feel welcomed and valued, making this a must-visit destination for anyone in Utica.

I've been a regular at Trackside for 30 years and the new location across the street in the beautiful train station is a must-see with its Grand Central style. The food was great as always, especially the Osso Bucco, Utica Greens, and crab cakes, but the slimmed-down menu and longer waits may be due to short-staffing. It's important to appreciate the hardworking staff who choose to work rather than stay home.
