Living in the DC area surrounded by countless Chinese restaurants, nothing compares to the incredible flavors and care poured into this unique kitchen run solely by its passionate owner. Though ordering can require patience and a bit of luck reaching him by phone, the fresh, perfectly seasoned dishes-like the tender chicken lo mein and flavorful Hunan chicken-are worth every minute of waiting and every drop of rain braved. The experience feels intimate and genuine, as if each bite tells the story of someone who truly loves his craft and refuses to compromise on quality.
