During a recent visit to Leavenworth for an Army training, I enjoyed a fantastic meal at Tin Kitchen, located in a charming historic building with a great atmosphere. The ribs were perfectly cooked, the coleslaw had just the right tangy vinegar flavor, and the coconut cream pie was absolutely delicious with its unique coconut crust. While the fries were a bit hit-or-miss, the smoked chicken, pulled pork, and brisket were tender and flavorful, and the service was efficient and welcoming despite the busy weekend crowd.
