The food here hits all the right notes with tender chicken, flavorful sauces, and endless chips and salsa, while the staff treats you like an old friend-even keeping up with updates when the wait gets long due to lingering diners. With quick service, a spotless environment, and a patio boasting a killer view of downtown Toledo, it's easy to see why we keep coming back for both the authentic flavors and the warm hospitality (plus, my service dog is always welcomed without a fuss).

The Mexican dishes at El Vaquero were flavorful and satisfying. The staff was attentive and friendly throughout our meal. The restaurant's location by the river offered a nice view of downtown Toledo, making it a pleasant dining experience.
