Went to the "Berg" with my husband and his parents. It wasn't busy just a couple at another table. It took our server 17 minutes just to take our drink order. We placed our drink order and 12 minutes later we finally got our four beers. WOW! We are super patient people mind you. Four empty beers later...some other server came over to take our second drink order. We let her know that we were ready to order our food. I will be right back she replied. While this was going on a woman was just aimlessly wondering around the restaurant almost awkwardly. We thought at first she was the owner but she never spoke or made eye contact with anyone. She just made us feel uncomfortable after awhile. We got our next drink order...someone else brought this round. 45 minutes into our little gathering the original server came back and took our order. The food came out WAY to fast...only a few minutes passed. Everything there is pretty much deep fried. We always get a little bit of everything and share it. It was all gross!!!! It tasted like the deep fryer oil hadn't been changed for quite some time and everything was soggy...not crispy. The burger was cold...cheese wasn't even melted. The salad that mom ordered was mostly lettuce...hence that's why we call it "Berg" as in iceberg lettuce...nothing to do with anything German. No one came over to ask how everything was. We never got asked if we needed anything else. I had to walk over to the bartender for another round of drinks and some water. We never did see our original server again. The weird lady that was walking around walked by our table and silently dropped off our check. We paid and left. Marking this place off as very off putting, cold, weird and gross. Great place to go if you just want to get a beer buzz going and watch a weirdo for an hour or two.
