This Pepe's joint is the one my fam and I always hit up, and it's always clean inside, surprisingly empty 'cause most folks just drive thru. The dude at the order window is always polite, never grumpy. Yeah, it takes a bit for the food to come out, but trust me, it's worth the wait. The tostada suiza dinner, steak taco plates, and Tuesday-Thursday special tacos are bomb. Been doing Taco Tuesday here for over a year now, always with chips and salsa. I usually go to the Pepe's on 1901 W 79th, never disappoints. Had a little mix-up with my order once, but they handled it like pros. Definitely my go-to Pepe's spot. Not all Pepe's are equal, but this one hits the spot for me every time. The steak tacos are my jam, and those refried beans? So good I could eat 'em on their own. Tried my friend's Beef Tripe once, not my thing, but hey, to each their own. Will definitely be back for more tasty eats. Enjoy, y'all!
