Uproar offers an inviting and inclusive atmosphere with three distinct levels, including a lively dance floor and a spacious rooftop deck that provides stunning views of U Street. The bartenders are friendly and attentive, serving strong drinks alongside tasty, reasonably priced food, making it an ideal spot for happy hour and special events like drag nights and Latin-themed parties. While the vibe is generally fantastic and diverse, the presence of a particular security staff member has sometimes cast a shadow on the experience, but overall, the energy and community spirit keep me coming back.
