The Bowmanstown Diner offers delicious home-cooked food at reasonable prices, with generous portions that satisfy. The menu features classic American fare, including mouthwatering specials like liver dinner and meatloaf, all served by a friendly and attentive staff in a cozy atmosphere. While the diner only accepts cash, an ATM is available on-site, making it a convenient stop for a hearty meal after outdoor activities like hiking.

Indulge in the finest home-cooked meals around, served in generous portions at affordable prices. Don't miss out on the opportunity to savor the delicious, freshly prepared dishes and experience the warm hospitality at this charming diner. Remember to bring cash or use the available ATM, and be prepared to enjoy a satisfying dining experience that's well worth the visit.

Horrible, if you walk in 45 min. before they close they're pushing you to order & when you ask when closing time is they say "the doors are already locked" 😯 wow, what customer service?!!
I won't be back!!!

I moved to Jim Thorpe 26 years ago,..April 1, 1995
Soon after I discovered the Diner in Jim Thorpe
A great place to eat and only a few years later it was bought by a couple from New York City and they raised the prices and lowered the quality of the food as well as the portions it then only a few years later closed and was taken away
while fishing the Lehigh River a year after I moved to Jim Thorpe with a friend down in Bowmanstown I discovered the Bowmanstown diner
I Just ate there today and the food is just as good as it was then!
Its always been consistently good and at a very fair price great food great size portions very VERY consistent!
In a world when everything is changing it's so nice to have something like this that doesn't change,. a good thing that lasts is very VERY rare today!

Owner could be a little more humble.. Good soups. Service is good. Open 24 hours which tells me the food is fresh...Irv

Will never go there again. Food was over-salted and under-cooked. Waitress was in a hurry to take our order and get us out. They take cash only, but it is not posted on the door when you come in - where it should be. There is one sign posted at the register - when you are ready to pay - that they do not take credit cards. Don't waste your time - go somewhere else!!!
