Thunder Island offers an excellent view of the gorge, complemented by a diverse menu featuring standout items like the garlic herb mushroom burger and kimchi Reuben, along with great beer and cider options brewed on-site. Service is generally quick and professional, even during busy times, with staff accommodating special requests and showing appreciation for customers' patience. While parking can be limited and some dishes vary in flavor, the overall experience combines delicious food, a friendly atmosphere, and scenic surroundings that make it an ideal stop after outdoor activities such as hiking or fishing.
